Yaesu VX-2R HT:




I picked this radio up at a hamfest one year, from a ham selling a like-new HT that some kid had bought in
anticipation of getting his ham license before he lost interest. For awhile it was used in a fox box, but it
now lives in my glovebox as an emergency HT. It's got a decently wideband receiver and good weather radio so
it works well. But I do have to keep the battery isolated when in storage since it has soft power and would
kill the battery in a few months otherwise.

It's advertised as the world's smallest 1.3w dual-band HT, and I believe it keeps its word. It's teeeeeny.
Same form-factor as a Baofeng UV-3R, and the battery looks like it might be swappable.
